I have studied Russian history (esp Soviet history) and literature all of my adult life and have traveled in European Russia 7 times. I read, go to concerts, musicals and ballet as often as I can but I also truely love the outdoors, the fresh air and whatever Mother Nature can show me when I am in her presence. I am rich because I have many true friends, even in Russia. My friends and family are my wealth. A wise mother, five siblings, nine nieces and nephews! Discussions on politics, literature, where the fish are biting, where some mushrooms have been found, or how the geese are flying always get my undivided attention.
